Sometimes I think about what advice I would give to someone who has recently developed a vestibular disorder or MAV. The title of this post is something I learnt (the hard way) a few years ago. At the time, I was in contact with a guy who I met on the dizzy lounge forum who was in a similar position to me; he had started getting symptoms around the same time as me, and a lot of our symptoms matched. We could relate to each other, because we both knew how hard being a student with a vestibular disorder or MAV could be.
Keep doing what you can do, because the less you do, the less you can do. I told him this once. I've always remembered it since, and it's helped me on the bad days.
