"Sometimes it's like the place where you're from is covered with a protective net, but there are holes. And at any time, the holes could open up and swallow you"

When I first looked at my cello, really looked at it, I thought it looked fragile. It amazed me how the bridge didn't just collapse. Whenever I took it out of my house to my cello lesson, for the first few months I just expected it to break. Sometimes i'd take it out the case, and be surprised that the bridge was still standing and the sound post in the middle of the cello hadn't fallen down. But it's been a year, and that still hasn't happened.
Sometimes, things are stronger than you originally thought they would be. Sometimes, when you're waiting for something bad to happen, you are tense for so long, that when it does happen, you feel relieved. But other times, you realise that maybe the bad thing won't happen after all, and you start to relax a little more, and you allow yourself to think that maybe it really will be okay.
God I love your posts.
ReplyDeleteYes, things can seem stronger than what they appear to be, never put all your trust in your eyes, because that's only one of your 5 senses that helps you judge. ;)
Oh thank you :D
